One of the fastest-growing outdoor Asian food festivals in the country, Panda Fest drew over 500,000 attendees across 13 cities in its first year. The DC edition brings 90+ food vendors, 200+ street food offerings, live cultural performances, a curated marketplace, and enough panda-themed everything to keep kids happy for a full day.

What’s There
Food: 90+ vendors, 200+ dishes spanning Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, and more. Featured vendors include Chan Bai Mei of NYC (candied hawthorn tanghulu), Dumpling King of NYC, Le Poke of Atlanta, and Mumu Sweets (mochi donuts), plus local DC-area vendors.
Marketplace: 40+ vendors selling crafts, apparel, accessories, and artisanal goods.
Cultural performances: Lion dances, K-pop performances, Thai dance, sugar painting, paper cutting, and calligraphy throughout both days.
Panda attractions: 15-foot inflatable panda, panda bounce ring, face painting, and panda dough figurine making.

Tickets — What to Know
Tickets are timed entry — select your time slot when purchasing. You can arrive later within your slot but not earlier. Once inside you’re free to stay as long as you like.
- General Admission: From $14 (Saturday slightly higher)
- VIP: $35 — fast-pass entry, exclusive VIP areas and bathrooms, exclusive panda merchandise plus all GA benefits
- Children under 6: Free — no ticket required. Children 6+ require an adult ticket.
Parking for Panda Fest DC
Pennsylvania Avenue NW between 4th and 7th Streets closes to vehicle traffic for the festival both days. Surrounding blocks will have restricted street parking. Pre-book before you leave home — the area fills fast on summer weekends.
- Gallery Place / Chinatown garages — 3–5 blocks north of the festival on 7th and 9th Streets NW. Walkable, well-priced.
- Archives / Navy Memorial area — garages on Pennsylvania Ave and D Street NW, just east of the festival. Closest option.
- L’Enfant Plaza garages — 1,800 total spaces, about a 15-minute walk. Good backup when closer lots fill.

Archives–Navy Memorial–Penn Quarter (Green/Yellow Lines) — exits directly onto Pennsylvania Avenue at 7th Street NW, putting you at the eastern entrance. From Maryland: Green Line from Greenbelt or College Park. From Virginia: Yellow Line from Huntington or Eisenhower Avenue.
Gallery Place–Chinatown (Red/Green/Yellow Lines) — exits at 7th and H Streets NW, about a 5-minute walk south to the festival. The Red Line connection makes this the most accessible from the widest range of starting points.
Federal Triangle (Blue/Orange/Silver Lines) — exits at 12th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, near the western end of the festival. Good from Virginia via Blue or Orange Line.
What to Bring — and What to Leave Home
